Bio
For over 20 years, Kendra Story has been a skilled and reliable journalist. Her educational background in print journalism and sheer passion for writing and editing has afforded her many opportunities in her career. Currently, she creates strong resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn copy for job hunters through a career services company. Additionally, she reviews insurance marketing content for a leading direct mail marketing company. Her past experience includes work in direct mail marketing, entertainment, and book publishing with Franklin Madison Group, Upscale magazine, and HarperCollins Christian Publishing, respectively. Her published work consists of music, literary, health and fitness, travel, sports, and fine arts content. As former entertainment editor of Atlanta-based Upscale magazine, she penned feature articles on many music artists including Aaliyah, Lenny Kravitz, and Tamia. Additionally, early in her career, Kendra covered college sports in the Atlanta area for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She was also the editor of pop culture expert Jawn Murray's former "Jawn's Juice" column on blackvoices.com (now huffpost.com).

A former entrepreneur, Kendra spent three years in entertainment management as co-partner of 2K Entertainment LLC. She co-managed two unsigned R&B artists and one hip-hop artist.
